Shipping Policy
The Bookend currently ships domestically within the United States via the United States Postal Service (USPS). Customers may choose their preferred USPS shipping method at checkout:

Media Mail – The most cost-effective method for mailing books. Delivery typically takes 2–14 business days depending on destination.

Priority Mail – The fastest option available. Delivery typically takes 1–3 business days once shipped.
Shipping rates are calculated based on distance, weight, and package dimensions.
Order Processing & Shipping Schedule
Orders are processed based on the time they are received and confirmed by our system. To ensure each book is carefully packed, The Bookend typically ships orders three times per week: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Orders placed before 2:00 PM MST are processed for the next scheduled shipping day according to the following schedule:

Orders placed Monday–Tuesday → ship Wednesday

Orders placed Wednesday–Thursday → ship Friday

Orders placed Friday–Sunday → ship Monday
Orders placed after 2:00 PM MST will be processed with the next shipping batch.
You will receive a shipping confirmation with tracking information once your order has been dispatched.
Packaging
Every order is carefully packed to ensure books arrive safely.
Oversized or Heavy Orders
If a book order is unusually heavy or oversized, additional shipping may occasionally be required. If this occurs, we will contact you before processing the shipment.
Delays or Order Issues
Customers will be notified promptly of any unexpected shipping delays or order cancellations.
Returns Policy
If you received an incorrect or defective book, you may return it within 14 days of delivery for a full refund. The Bookend will pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of the businesses error.
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper. This time period includes the transit time to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes to process your return (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process the refund request (5 to 10 business days).
