Since World War II, the renewed interest in prophecy has been one of the most significant developments in American religion. With it has come a call for clear, biblical teaching on the subject. The author examines the place of eschatology in the Bible, and writes to show how this teaching should affect our lives. He affirms truths that evangelicals everywhere can agree on, such as the personal, visible return of Jesus Christ to earth; the rapture of the church; the resurrection of the dead in Christ, and the destruction of the Antichrist.
