The Structure of Scientific Revolutions by Thomas S. Kuhn revolutionizes our understanding of scientific progress: instead of a steady accumulation of knowledge, Kuhn argues that science moves through phases of “normal science” punctuated by disruptive paradigm‑shifting revolutions, triggered by anomalies that existing frameworks can’t explain. From Copernicus’s heliocentric shift to modern breakthroughs, Kuhn shows how one worldview is replaced by another—challenging what qualifies as truth and progress. This groundbreaking work brings clarity and depth to a text widely regarded as one of the most influential books in the history of ideas.
