A timeless coming-of-age classic, The Outsiders tells the unforgettable story of Ponyboy Curtis, a thoughtful teenager caught between two rival worlds: the working-class Greasers and the privileged Socs. As friendships are tested and violence escalates, Ponyboy struggles to find his place in a society divided by class, loyalty, and prejudice. Written when S. E. Hinton was just sixteen years old, this groundbreaking novel revolutionized young adult literature with its authentic teenage voice, emotional honesty, and enduring themes of identity, belonging, compassion, and hope. More than half a century after its publication, The Outsiders continues to resonate with readers of all ages and remains one of the most influential novels in American literature.
