About the Author

Julian Baggini is the editor and co-publisher of The Philosopher’s Magazine, with years of experience writing philosophy for general audiences. His work has appeared in The Independent, Independent on Sunday, and Times Educational Supplement. He earned his PhD from University College London in 1996.

Peter Fosl is Bingham Associate Professor of Philosophy and Program Chair at Transylvania University. A contributing editor to The Philosopher’s Magazine, Fosl has published extensively on Hume, scepticism, and the history of philosophy. His academic journey includes studies at Bucknell, Emory, the LSE, and a Fulbright Scholarship to the University of Edinburgh.
